Wellness Together School Mental Health is excited to announce Mind Out Loud, a free online event for STUDENTS, in partnership with the San Diego County Office of Education and the California Department of Education.

Students join together for a three-day virtual experience to:

• Connect with their peers across California
• Hear from engaging speakers to be equipped with practical tools for wellness
• Increase mental health awareness and advocacy for themselves and their friends
• Learn about suicide prevention
• Reduce stigma around mental health

This message is for families of seniors: We are excited to host our first official on-campus event, DVC Graduation Cap Decorating, on Wednesday, April 14th and Thursday, April 15th!  At this event, student will have access to a host of art materials to customize their graduation mortarboards.  Feel free to bring your own materials if you’d like as well!

If you have been having problems submitting a celebration of your senior in the yearbook, you are not alone! Unfortunately, the website is indicating that the deadline has passed, but that is not the case. We are thrilled to present another round of All-Star Awards to our amazing DVC students! Here’s the video in which their teachers acknowledge them and explain why they are receiving this special recognition. If your student’s name is on the list, please check it out – and congratulations!

DVC students who are a part of The Pack (DVC’s yearbook team) have been hard at work to make a yearbook to mark this unique year. All seniors will be able to get the book for free and do not have to order the book. For families of 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students, the cost is $23 per book. You can order a book by going to www.YearbookOrderCenter.com and entering 17703 as our school code.

For families of seniors: If you would like purchase space in the book and design something to celebrate your graduate, please do so as soon as possible. You can find all the information about pricing and how to do it on this flyer. The deadline for submissions is Friday, April 9th. We are rushing to make sure we can meet our publication deadline.
