Volunteer Opportunity!
Let’s Give, a non-profit run by high school students, is having an event that is in need of volunteers! The event is on August 27th from 11am to 3pm, they will be selling grilled cheese sandwiches, snow cones, playing music, and more. All proceeds are going towards groceries for Let’s Give to fund their monthly Skid Row breakfast distributions. They are now looking for volunteers to help facilitate this event.
If you’d like to earn some of the service hours required for this semester, while also hanging out with a great group of teenagers from high schools around Los Angeles, look no further!

We are excited to welcome all students back for the first day of school! All students should enter through the back DVC gate to be welcomed by teachers, and then we will gather in the DVC lunch area to start the day. Students will then head to advisories. Advisory rosters will be posted at the DVC office, and are in this document. Most students have the same advisory from last year, but with new advisories for our new 12th grade teaching team we randomly changed advisories of a few students in each advisory from last year, so all students should check for a possible new assignment:
Full student schedules are currently in PowerSchool, and will be passed out in advisory at the start of the day.
