Hello Da Vinci Seniors, Parents, and Guardians,

Applications are open for Da Vinci Extension (DVX)– the program that exclusively allows Da Vinci students to receive FREE COLLEGE! All tuition, fees, books and class materials are PAID FOR– there are no requirements, no test scores, and no GPA minimum!

Hi DVC Community,

We continue to appreciate your support and encouragement as we adapt to provide high-quality and meaningful virtual experiences for our students.

We have something new and different planned for next week on Monday, May 4th and Tuesday, May 5th, and we’d love your support in making it a success! We are calling these days Spring Outreach Days and we hope to check in with each student individually as well as meet together as a grade-level (including parents) for a big, virtual meeting. Please read below for some details with more coming soon.

1. Town Hall Meetings: We are planning one big, virtual meeting for each grade level. We expect all students to attend if they’re able to do so, and we encourage all parents to attend, too! Please see below for dates and times. These meetings may include virtual school tips for students and families, updates from each academic teacher, and a quick overview of the grading options available to all students for this semester.
2. Contacting Students: It is our hope to talk to each DVC student for a few minutes just to understand what they’re experience with remote learning at DVC has been so far. Please help us by completing this survey and sharing the best number at which to contact them. We have parent phone numbers, but we don’t have student phone numbers (or the best number at which to reach a student)!
3. Mailing Home Grade Updates: We are using these days to prepare grade updates for you so that you can be sure to know how your student is doing academically at this time. Please check your mail for those by the end of the week.

During these two days, the expectation is that students (1) attend their grade-level town-hall meeting, (2) respond to their teacher when they reach out, and (3) continue to catch up on any missed work. There will be no additional work given to students on these days, so students should use these days to catch up if they have fallen behind.
