Good evening, DVC Families,

Only two weeks left in the first semester! We are particularly grateful for our 10th grade families who participated in our drive-through on Wednesday morning. It truly warmed our hearts to see so many students and families! We look forward to seeing our seniors and passing out their caps and gowns this week.

Here are the important dates coming up this week and beyond:

Wednesday, 12/9 – 12th Grade Drive-Through Event (2pm to 4pm)

Wednesday, 12/9 – Tutoring for Students by Students from 10:45am – 11:45am

Friday, 12/11 – Last Day to Submit Late Work to Teachers

Saturday, 12/12 – Senior Portraits (Day 1 of 2)

Sunday, 12/13 – Senior Portraits (Day 2 of 2)

Monday, 12/14 – PowerSchool Access Turned Off

Wednesday, 12/16 – 11th Grade Drive-Through Event (2pm to 4pm)

Thursday, 12/17 – Last Day of Semester 1

Friday, 12/18 – First Day of Winter Break for Students / Professional Development Day for Staff

Monday, 1/11 – First Day of Semester 2

Good morning, DVC Families,

We are excited to host our 10th grade drive-through from 10am – 12pm on Wednesday, December 2nd.

Students and their families can pick up the following items during the drive-through:

• ID card
• Art supply kit
• Chemistry lab kit
• DVC t-shirt

In order to prevent the risk of exposure to COVID-19 and promote the safety of all the participants involved, everyone will be asked to follow the protocol and guidelines established by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and Da Vinci Schools for this type of event. We strongly request that all participants arrive in an enclosed vehicle. When one or more windows of the vehicle are open, all individuals in the vehicle must be wearing a face covering. At this event, students and families are not permitted to exit the vehicle.
