Practice exams will be scored by The Princeton Review.  They will not be official scores and will not impact college applications.  Although, many colleges/universities have opted to be Test Optional, that may change. These exams are purely for practice and exposure.

All students are invited to participate.

WACAC proudly presents the first of a three-part webinar series for Spanish speaking families called “Cafecito con Colegios”!  The goal of this webinar series is to provide important updates from WACAC members about the state of higher education and the changes that have taken place because of the COVID-19 pandemic in order to help Spanish-speaking families as they continue to support their students throughout the college admission process.

Cafecito con Colegios

WACAC los invita a nuestra primera sesión virtual el sábado, 13 de marzo a las 10:30am. Durante esta sesión virtual (completamente en español), escuchen de nuestros panelistas de las oficinas de admisión de universidades públicas y privadas en California.  Nuestros invitados van a compartir y platicar sobre los cambios que han notado en admisiones a las universidades durante este año.  Tenga su cafecito listo y registrese usando este enlace.

We are pleased to celebrate another group of students with DVC All-Star Awards! If your student’s name is on the list, please check out this video to hear the reason for their recognition.

There is no school for students on Friday, 3/12 due to teacher professional development. This means that our schedule next week is a little different. Please take note that students have a full set of classes on Wednesday, 3/10.

There is also a makeup picture day scheduled for Friday, 3/12. Please sign up here for that opportunity.

Student-led conferences begin on Monday, March 15th (next week) and we will be releasing information about sign-ups on Monday, 3/8.

The Western Association of College Admission Counselors (WACAC) is hosting its annual Spring College Fairs. Workshops provide students with the opportunity to meet representatives from colleges and universities from all over the country as well as attend sessions on the college application process and financial aid process.
