SCHOOL DAY SAT
ALL DVC Juniors will be taking an official SAT on campus at no cost on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. Nothing is required by parents or students, as DVC will be providing the exams. If students are interested in signing up for another SAT, they should sign up for the June 1st test. In addition, there will be another test prep opportunity for SAT prep after school that will start in a few weeks. That session is designed to get the kids ready for the June 1st test. Make sure to keep an eye out for that!
Junior Family Meetings
Diana will be conducting individual family meetings with Junior families in May. It is important that each student/family attend, this will be the time to talk about transcripts, test scores, and how to prepare for Senior year. Sign ups are available during SLC’s this week. Please make sure you sign up for a time slot after your presentation, If you have not already done so please take a moment to sign up for a time slot using the link below.

ACT & SAT Test Reminders
Juniors, please be advised that the last ACT/SAT test dates are right around the corner. If you have not taken the ACT/SAT please make sure to register for either test as soon as possible. It is suggested that all students take at least an ACT and/or SAT this semester and another first semester of senior year. Below are the remaining test dates for this semester:
- SAT Test date 5/04/19; Registration Deadline April 5th, 2019
- SAT Test Date 6/01/19; Registration Deadline May 3rd, 2019
- ACT Test Date 6/08/19; Registration Deadline May 3rd, 2019
To register for the ACT test you need to register at ACT.org and the test fee is $46 and with writing $62.50. To register for the SAT test you need to register at collegeboard.org and the test fee is $46 and with essay $60.
On March 26, Diana will be assisting Juniors with SAT and ACT test registration. All students that qualify for Fee waivers will be required to register for the SAT and ACT. If your student did not receive a fee wavier and they would like to register on March 26, please provide your student with a credit card.
