SUMMER PROGRAMS:
Every summer AYA hosts a summer program for local high school students who are interested in pursuing or learning more about media, communication, journalism, public relations and civic engagement. AYA is completely free of charge for the 26 students accepted into the academy.
The application for AYA is now live and students can begin to work on their application. The deadline to apply by is Friday March 22, 2019

EL CAMINO COLLEGE COURSES SPRING SEMESTER:
El Camino College is offering Anthropology 1 for the spring 2019 semester as a dual enrollment class. This class will take place at Da Vinci Communications High School on Monday and Wednesday from 3:00 pm – 4:25 pm. The class will start on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.

ACT PREP COURSES:
Da Vinci is once again offering a winter ACT Prep course to its students through PJ Test Prep, a small Test Prep and Tutoring company based in the south bay. The course, open to students from all DV high schools, will be 5 days over winter break from Monday January 7th to Friday January 11th, 2.5 hours per day. The cost is only $50 per student (partial scholarships are available, so please don’t let the cost stop you from signing up!)
