Families, we look forward to seeing everyone tonight for our Spring Exhibition (6:00pm – 8:00pm)! Students will be showing off their incredible work this semester, and we are excited to send everyone off to Spring break with a celebration of the dedication and long hours put into creating strong and beautiful work this semester.
Food will be served by our great friends at Earlez Grill! They will be located on campus by the gate near the gym, where they were last semester.

New Campus Info Meeting and Discussion

DVC, Eynon’s Room 101
Dear DVC Family,
This coming August we will be making the exciting move to our new campus at 201 N Douglas, just a few blocks from our current DVC home. This incredible opportunity to move to a brand new building will bring growth to us as a school and campus. We look forward to taking advantage of the opportunities the beautiful new campus and growth afford us while maintaining our close knit family culture.
One of the things that makes our move unique is that we’re moving into a building along with two other schools. Most importantly, we are not “merging” with the other two Da Vinci high schools and becoming one big high school, and we are not changing our name to “Wiseburn High School”. We will still be Da Vinci Communications, with all of our unique traditions, expectations, and culture.
This new move comes with incredible new and growing opportunities, and will have changes that might take some adjustment to get used to. The first thing you will notice is that our classrooms and facilities will be shiny and new and provide a wonderful learning environment designed specifically for the way we do things differently here at DVC. Many of the new opportunities will reflect the growing programs we will share between the three high schools, including an expanding sports program, an incredible new music space and a small theater on campus. There will also be some changes that may seem foreign at first – our seminar options will change, as most seminars will be for only DVC students. Most of your day will be contained on the third floor, with only DVC students, while the overall campus will have more students due to three schools sharing the whole facility.
We have been collecting all of our family’s questions on the move (see the link above to add your own questions for us to address), and would love to both update everyone with more details and hear your ideas and thoughts at our new campus meeting, which we would like to invite all families to on Thursday, April 20th from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at DVC. We have also answered many of the most common questions on the second page of the attached letter.
We are all excited for this once in a lifetime move into the incredible new building coming up this August, and are looking forward to all growing together as a family over the coming years.
Sincerely,
Nathan Barrymore and Scott Weatherford
