Projects are in full production mode or wrapping up this week and the work is impressive, from original computer games, documentaries in progress and more. The 10th graders are putting on a mini-exhibition during the school day for the 9th grade tomorrow, so if you are looking for a topic of conversation with your 9th or 10th grade student just ask them about the presentations.
Fiesta
Tomorrow, Friday October 2nd we will be having a Fiesta to celebrate the conclusion of Hispanic Heritage Month and the accompanying lessons and discussions we have been running in advisory these past 3 weeks. There will be music and dancing from 4pm to 6pm and all students and families are welcome.
ASL – Martha’s Vineyard
After the Fiesta, head on over to the Design side of campus to see the American Sign Language Students presenting about the historical importance of Martha’s Vineyard in deaf culture while you learn a little sign language from the students. This event will run from 5:30pm to 7:00pm on the Design side of campus.
