Kayne Scholars recently completed its fifth year of recruitment at Da Vinci Schools and its first cohort of Scholars will be graduating from college next month. The program has been successful in assisting students from nine Los Angeles high schools through STEM and business-related majors at CSUs and UC colleges. Kayne’s unique program of providing financial support, college advising, and career development to first-generation, low-income students have helped students adjust to college life and ultimately advance their potential through college graduation and into careers that they love.
Kayne recently launched new college access and persistence support program called Kayne Destination College. KDC is open to 11th-grade students (rising seniors). Only students who go through KDC will be invited to apply to the Kayne Scholarship program in the 12th grade.
KDC is designed to support motivated first-generation, low-mid income students who are really open to feedback and support from coaches, it’s great for students who really take ownership of the process and are seeking additional guidance.
A representative from Kayne Destination College will be hosting an informational meeting on-campus at Da Vinci on
