Looking for volunteer and service hour opportunities? Let’s Give is a local organization whose mission is to connect like minds and deliver change. They work to unite students and young adults across Los Angeles to create a community family. They are having an event next Sunday that students can serve at. Students and parents, please do not trespass on neighboring business’s property, either on foot or by using their driveways to pick up or drop off. See this letter for more information.
A few reminders for the busy week ahead.
- No school on November 12 to commemorate Veterans Day holiday.
- DVC Exhibition night is Thursday, November 15 from 6-7:30 pm. All students are required to attend and to be in professional dress.
- Friday, November 16 is a minimum day with students being released at 2:20 pm. School starts normal Friday time at 9:50 am.
- Students do not have school the week of November 19-23 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
