Hi DVC Families,
We’re fast approaching the end of the school year! We are grateful for your support and encouragement during this time. We know that this has not been an easy road, and we have received several emails from families who have been struggling with physical, financial, or mental health over these past few weeks. If your family is struggling and you have yet to reach out to us, please do! We’re happy to support in any way we can.
Please note that the last day of classes is scheduled for this Thursday, May 21st. We will then transition to POL Preparation Days in Week 36, with POLs beginning in Week 37. Please see this document for the calendar for the remainder of the school year: DVC End of Year Calendar 2020
On Friday, May 22nd, our seniors will be coming to campus for drive-through pick-up of their caps, gowns, tassels, and more. A written explanation of this day can be found here, and a video explanation can be found by clicking on these words.
We’ve been able to celebrate students throughout this time of remote learning. Please check out the recipients of the All-Star Awards (staff to student) and Awesome Awards (student to student). We are encouraged by the resilience and strength of our wonderful DVC student community!
