A huge congratulations to the 9th grade students and team for putting together the MOTH event yesterday!  The students shared serious, humorous and inspiring stories in front of their peers.  The whole grade level of students were incredibly supportive of each other in their first public performance of many to come throughout their time at DVC. Watching the students come together on stage during the last MOTH story was particularly meaningful and a result of all the work and energy the students put into their talks and the time and creativity the teachers put into designing the project.

Week 7

Here is the Week 7 Schedule.  Highlights include the Fiesta this coming Friday from 4pm to 6pm, a celebration concluding Hispanic Heritage Month and the lessons surrounding Hispanic Heritage and immigration stories we have been running in advisory these past weeks.  SLCs are also coming up soon (2 weeks).  Sign-ups are already on the DVC Portal, and teachers will be announcing details on Monday.
