FREE UCLA Math Summer Camp @ Da Vinci, July 8-11

We are excited to announce that registration is now OPEN for the Young Mathematicians Summer Institute, facilitated by the UCLA Math Project. This engaging four-day or five-day workshop is designed for students in grades 9-12. Learn how to collect, analyze, and interpret data—a critical skill for success in college. Whether you’re writing research papers, conducting experiments, or evaluating information in other courses, a strong foundation in statistics will help you make sense of complex data, back up your ideas with evidence, and think critically. These skills are not only vital across many college majors but also prepare you for real-world decision-making and problem-solving in your future career.

This REGISTRATION IS ABSOLUTELY FREE FOR DA VINCI STUDENTS.
The workshop will take place at Da Vinci Schools in El Segundo and will provide a fantastic opportunity for your child to strengthen their math skills over the summer. Additionally, participation in this program will look great on their academic record!

🎓 Attention Class of 2025: Final Transcripts Are Ready! 🎓

Dear Graduates and Families,

Congratulations again on your graduation! As you prepare for your next chapter—whether it’s college, career, or a gap year—we want to make sure your final transcripts are in order. Final high school transcripts are now ready to be ordered on Parchment.

To ensure everything is accurate before sending transcripts to your college or university, please follow the steps below carefully:

📄 Step-by-Step: How to Order Your Transcript

1. Log in to your Parchment account
Go to www.parchment.com and log in using your existing student account.

2. Order your transcript to be sent to yourself first

  • Select “Send to Yourself”

  • Choose to receive it electronically (PDF) or via mail

  • Once received, review your transcript carefully to ensure all grades, credits, and your graduation status are accurate

3. If everything looks good, send your transcript to your university

  • Log back into Parchment

  • Select “Send to a College or University”

  • Search for your school and follow the prompts to send electronically

  • Make sure to confirm the school’s correct admissions office or department

🛑 Found a Mistake?

If you see any discrepancies or errors on your final transcript (missing credits, incorrect grades, etc.), please contact us before sending it to your college:

From all of us at Da Vinci Communications, we wish you a wonderful summer break! We are proud of all our students and grateful for the support of our parents and guardians throughout the school year.

And as I wrap up my time as principal, I want to express my gratitude to all the parents, guardians, and students who’ve supported me over the past six years at DVC. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’ve felt so lucky to be part of this community. Your encouragement, kindness, and partnership have meant the world to me. I hope our paths cross again in the future as I will still be working with Da Vinci on a new program called LifeLaunch: Aviation & LifeLaunch: Healthcare  that I hope many DVC students join! Graduation Photos: Congratulations to the Class of 2025! It was an honor and pleasure watching you walk the stage last week. Report Cards: Report Cards will be sent out on Friday, 6/20. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to front office manager, Jackie Martinez: jmartinez@davincischools.org.

Rising Senior Portraits: The Class of 2026 is expected to sign up to take senior portraits with our photographer, Stacee Lianna, during the summer at this link: tinyurl.com/DaVinciSeniors2026. Week 38 Schedule

The final week of the school year has arrived! We are proud of our students for preparing for POLs and finals and finishing the school year strong. Remember that how you finish is more important than how you start!

As the year comes to a close, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank our incredible DVC parents and guardians. We’ve had a terrific year and it’s thanks to your involvement and support in setting up our students for success in college, career, and life. We are ever-grateful for your trust and partnership.

Presentations of Learning (POLs) and Final Exams continue on Monday and Tuesday! School dismissal will be at 2pm on all three days of the week. The last day of school is Wednesday, June 11th. For more information regarding POLs and Finals, please review this slide deck: POL & Finals Info (June 2025) 

Please note the process for any student who misses their POL:

  1. Parent/guardian contacts the teachers who have been affected by the absence. Email is the preferred method of communication.
  2. Teacher(s) confirm receipt of the request for a presentation.
  3. Student schedules a time to meet with the teacher to discuss the missed presentation and potential make-up.
  4. Teachers determine if and when the student will present at a new date and time. If a make-up is scheduled, parent/guardian and student will be informed via email of the new date and time.

  • Monday, 6/9: Senior Breakfast, Graduation Practice & Gown Pickup (starts at 9am in Black Box)
  • Tuesday, 6/10: Beach Day (8:30am departure from school; details on permission slip)
  • Wednesday, 6/11: Last Day of Classes (8:30am start)
  • Thursday, 6/12: Graduation Ceremony (full details here, be at school by 8am)
  • Tuesday, 6/17: Gown Return & Diploma Pick Up (9:30am – 11:30am)
