allcove Beach Cities and BCHD are looking to select the next group of young leaders who represent the diversity of the Beach Cities and surrounding communities across race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, lived experience, ability and socio-economic status. The Youth Advisory Group ensures that youth voices are at the forefront of the allcove Beach Cities center experience. As part of the Youth Advisory Group, you will help allcove Beach Cities gain a better understanding of young peoples’ needs and opinions to provide them with relevant and effective services. The Youth Advisory Group is comprised of up to 15 young people, ages 16-25, from the local community of the Beach Cities and throughout Service Planning Area (SPA) 8.
SPA 8 serves the communities of Athens, Avalon, Carson, Catalina Island, El Segundo, Gardena, Harbor City, Hawthorne, Inglewood, Lawndale, Lennox, Long Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Dominguez, Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates, San Pedro, Torrance, Wilmington and others.
