Youth & Young Adult Job Fair- RSVP Deadline Extended to 4/7

The South Bay Workforce Investment Board is hosting its 23rd Annual Youth and Young Adult Job Fair on April 19, 2023, from 9am to 1pm at El Camino College. This event is open to participants over the age of 16. Transportation will be provided to and from the event via a bus that will be leaving from the 201 N. Douglas campus at 8:00am. Please note that spots are limited and not guaranteed. The deadline to RSVP is Friday, April 7th at 3pm. Those that are selected will receive an email with further instructions from Crissel Rodriguez, the Director of Real-World Learning. If you are interested in participating, please fill out this form.

11th Grade- Individual College & Career Parent Meetings

Happy Thursday Class of 2024!

Individual College and Career Junior parent meetings will run from April 10th -May 19th. Every Junior is required to set up a meeting with me and at least one parent needs to be present. This meeting can be in person or via Zoom. We will cover next year’s plans including the college process, career selection, post-high school plans, etc. Please sign up for a day and time by next Friday, April 7th. These meetings can also be done in Spanish if needed.

Exhibition Night is Tonight!

Please join us TONIGHT (Wednesday, March 29th) from 5:30pm – 7:00pm for our Exhibition Night!

All students are expected to attend, and all 9th & 11th grade students will be showcasing their projects.
Guests will be asked to remain in the first floor atrium until the start of Exhibition (5:30pm). Only DVC students who are presenting will be permitted on the 3rd floor prior to 5:30pm.
There will be pizza, nachos, snacks, and DVC merchandise for sale (t-shirts and hoodies).
