Exhibition Night is TONIGHT at 5:30pm at DVC! We invite all families, friends, and community members to see our students showcase their projects. All DVC students are required to attend; students in grades 10 & 12 will have their projects on display. Canned food and staff gratitude basket donations accepted! 🙂

DVC Key Club will be holding a “Holiday Toy Drive” for children in need this holiday. The donation drive will begin November 13- December 13 and can be dropped off at the front desk. Once all donations are collected by the end of December 13 (last day to donate) it will be donated to St Margaret’s Center. Thank you so much for your kind donations!

Happy Veterans Day, DVC! We appreciate and honor all those who have served our country, and we hope that everyone enjoys the weekend!

Our 12th graders visited UC Irvine this week and got special DVC alumni-led tours of the campus. On Wednesday, 11/15, our seniors will Press Submit on their Cal State and UC college applications, and we wish them the best of luck throughout this college application season! 

THURSDAY is Exhibition Night at DVC! We invite all families, friends, and community members to join us on Thursday, 11/16 from 5:30 – 7:00pm as our students showcase their projects. All DVC students are required to attend; students in grades 10 & 12 will have their projects on display. 

• Canned Food Drive: In the spirit of the season of giving, DVC is requesting a donation of any canned goods as an entrance fee at Exhibition. Please drop off your canned goods / non-perishables in the Wolves Den (the main table at the top of the stairs). We will be partnering with the L.A. Regional Food Bank. Here are the items they suggest: peanut butter, canned soup, canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned stew, canned fish, canned beans, and pasta (whole grain preferred). We are ever grateful for this community!

Here are the list of college/career reps that will be visiting DVC during lunch this upcoming week:

• Tuesday, November 7th @ 11:45 am: U.S. Army

All college/career rep visits will take place in Mr. Jackson’s room (3203), and no sign-ups are required to attend. Students are able to grab lunch after the presentation as I will give out excuse slips to extend their lunch time.

DVC Students of all grade levels (9-12) can attend these rep visits.
