Dear DVC Students and Families,

We are so proud of the creative and engaging ways in which our 9th and 11th grade students demonstrated their learning at our Exhibition Night! We are also grateful for the great turnout and terrific positive energy and support from our DVC families. Thank you for coming out last night!

There is no school tomorrow (Friday, March 31st) in recognition of César Chávez Day. We recognize and commemorate the history of the farm labor movement in the United States and particularly the role therein of César Chávez.

Next week is Spring Break, so school is also closed from Monday, 4/3 – Friday, 4/7. School resumes on Monday, April 10th.

Happy Thursday Class of 2024!

Individual College and Career Junior parent meetings will run from April 10th -May 19th. Every Junior is required to set up a meeting with me and at least one parent needs to be present. This meeting can be in person or via Zoom. We will cover next year’s plans including the college process, career selection, post-high school plans, etc. Please sign up for a day and time by next Friday, April 7th.  These meetings can also be done in Spanish if needed.

Please join us TONIGHT (Wednesday, March 29th) from 5:30pm – 7:00pm for our Exhibition Night!

• All students are expected to attend, and all 9th & 11th grade students will be showcasing their projects.
• Guests will be asked to remain in the first floor atrium until the start of Exhibition (5:30pm). Only DVC students who are presenting will be permitted on the 3rd floor prior to 5:30pm.
• There will be pizza, nachos, snacks, and DVC merchandise for sale (t-shirts and hoodies).
