Male Seniors: Apply to Bridge Builders Foundation’s “Start to Finish” Program
The Application period is NOW OPEN for the 2022 cohort of students for the Bridge Builders Foundation’s “Start to Finish” Program. This is a recurring scholarship for African American Males who are current Seniors (cumulative 3.0 GPA) providing financial support upon entry to college, and continuing for 3 consecutive years ($5,500 per student). In addition, students receive dedicated mentoring, coaching, career and life guidance.
Students in this program have a 6-year college completion rate that is over 90%, which exceeds the national average for ANY COHORT of students (all genders/all races).
In 2022,this organization will award over $100,000 in Scholarships, and we will exceed over $1 million in financial support provided since inception. For more information, please visit their website: www.BridgeBuildersLA.org.

Update on DVC Exhibition Night Plans
Dear DVC Students, Parents, and Guardians,
One of Da Vinci’s Signature Practices is Exhibition Night, an evening event for our community to come together to witness and celebrate how much our students have learned and grown in the project-based environment. Though we originally planned to hold an Exhibition Night this semester, we have decided to allow our teachers and students additional time to prepare for this important showcase. As a result, we will be rescheduling our Exhibition Night for second semester (January – June). We look forward to showcasing our students’ terrific projects in the new year, and we will let you know as soon as we decide on our new dates.
