Hello DVC,
Happy Monday! There are no college visits this week however, there are two important reminders to announce:
- DVC’s UC Applications submission deadline is this Wednesday, November 17th. I will be pulling out students on Wednesday during their College and Career Readiness class to do a final UC Application check and/or submit their UC Applications. For those students who don’t have their College and Career Readiness class that day, feel free to stop by my office during period 3A (UC Application Drop-In Hours) so I can look over your applications. The official deadline for CSUs/UCs is November 30th, but I’m giving this early deadline to Seniors to ensure we are available to answer all their questions since Thanksgiving Break is next week.
- Please submit your FAFSA! FAFSA opened on October 1st and some colleges have a first-come first-serve basis for campus scholarships.
